Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled network security engineer with expertise in Palo Alto firewalls and zero trust security principles. The ideal candidate will possess deep technical knowledge in network security, strong hands-on experience with Palo Alto Networks technologies, and a comprehensive understanding of Zero Trust Architecture.
Required Skills:
- Extensive experience with Palo Alto Networks firewalls—deployment, configuration, and policy management
- In-depth understanding and practical experience implementing the Zero Trust Security Framework
- Strong knowledge of network protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, BGP, etc.)
- Proficiency with security tools and technologies such as VPN, IDS/IPS, and threat prevention systems
- Experience working with SIEM platforms and log analysis tools
- Familiarity with cloud security models across AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud
- Strong grasp of network segmentation and micro-segmentation methodologies
- Expertise in identity and access control mechanisms (SAML, OAuth, LDAP, RADIUS)
- Working knowledge of industry-standard frameworks such as NIST, ISO 27001, and CIS Benchmarks
- Scripting and automation skills using Python, PowerShell, or equivalent
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze complex network security issues
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for documentation and collaboration
