About the Role

We’re looking for a volunteer HR Recruiter Extraordinaire to help us find amazing volunteers who are excited to make a difference. This isn’t just about answering inquiries — this is about actively seeking out incredible people who don’t even know yet that they’re meant to join our team!

What You’ll Do

• Take the lead in recruiting volunteers for a variety of roles — from fundraising heroes to creative storytellers.
• Use platforms like Idealist , LinkedIn , and others to find volunteers (not just respond to those who find us).
• Write fun, engaging posts that make people say, “I NEED to be part of this!”
• Think outside the box to connect with potential volunteers in unique and creative ways.
• Share our mission with kindness and warmth — making every interaction feel like a hug in email form.

What We’re Looking For

• A kind, people-loving soul who enjoys connecting with others.
• Creative thinking — you love trying new ways to get people excited about volunteering.
• Comfortable navigating Idealist, LinkedIn, and other recruitment platforms.
• Organized and able to follow up without letting anyone slip through the cracks.
• Bonus: You’ve done recruiting, HR, or volunteer coordination before (but passion and kindness matter most).

Time Commitment

A few hours a week — flexible, and we’ll work around your schedule. This role is remote, so you can do it from anywhere (PJs welcome).
