\n\nTravel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

\n\nJob Details:
\n• 36-bed medical-surgical unit located on 12 Tower
\n• Patient ratios: 1:4 or 1:5
\n• 4 weekend shifts required in a 4-week block
\n• Floating over core staff when needed
\n• Equipment includes PD Cyclers, Welch Allyn VS Carts, Hoyer Lift, Broda Chairs, and Alaris IV Pumps
\n• Documentation system: Meditech
\n• Required certifications: BLS, NIHSS
\n• Dress code: Navy, Blue, White, Black, Gray, or Ceil Blue scrubs
\n• Perform basic patient assessments and general care for wounds, tracheostomy, ostomy, drains, chest tubes, strokes, and seizures
\n• Patient population may require dialysis or PCA pumps with Heparin drips
\n• Handle post-operative procedures including amputations, ostomy, drains, chest tubes, oral surgeries, and wound vacs
\n• Participate in bedside shift reports and safety checks every 1-2 hours
\n• Follow HAI prevention protocols including CVC and Foley monitoring
\n• Implement fall prevention measures and 100% medication scanning including controlled substances
\n• Unit support includes secretary coverage daily and PRN technicians
\n• Treated as core staff with same level of accountability and recognition
