Nursing degree, active registered nurse (RN) license and minimum 1+ years RN experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Deliver expert perioperative nursing care in a dynamic operating room environment serving diverse surgical specialties. This role involves coordinating with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and OR staff to ensure seamless patient care from preparation through recovery. Critical thinking, leadership, and adherence to regulatory standards guide your daily responsibilities in this fast-paced setting.

Qualifications / Desired Experience:

• Registered Nurse (RN) with current licensure
• Minimum 2 years of OR experience with strengths in Orthopedics, Neurosurgery, Robotics, ENT, General Surgery, and Urology
• ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications required
• Proficient with Cerner electronic health record system
• Certified Nurse Operating Room (CNOR) credential preferred
• Ability to float between multiple campuses as needed

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with surgical team members to deliver optimal patient care throughout procedures
• Manage surgical supplies and ensure case timeliness
• Communicate effectively with patient families and healthcare team
• Maintain and update physician preference cards and procedural documentation
• Assist surgeons during operations by scrubbing in and providing technical support
• Supervise and guide other personnel involved in patient care in the OR

Schedule:

• Day shift, Monday through Thursday
• 6:30 AM to 5:00 PM (four 10-hour shifts)

• 13-week contract position, starting ASAP
