Staff Accountant | Charleston, SC

We’re partnering with a private family office headquartered in Charleston to identify a Staff Accountant who’s excited to grow their career in a collaborative and mission-driven environment.

This is a great opportunity for someone with a solid accounting foundation who wants to be part of an organization that not only values technical excellence but also creates a real impact in the community through its philanthropic initiatives.

In this role, you’ll:

• Support accounting functions across multiple nonprofit organizations
• Record monthly transactions, accruals, and maintain fixed asset records
• Oversee accounts payable and employee expense reports
• Prepare month-end and year-end reconciliations and financial reports
• Work closely with experienced accounting leaders who provide mentorship and guidance
• Participate in professional development and have opportunities for advancement

The ideal candidate will have:

• A bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business (preferred)
• CPA or on the CPA Track
• 1+ year of accounting experience
• A strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting
• Excellent Excel skills and experience with modern accounting systems
• A proactive, detail-oriented mindset and eagerness to learn
