JOB DESCRIPTION Apex is seeking a very strong, highly experienced consulting professional to join the US & Canada practice within Apex' Solutions Delivery Organization to map the current Citrix estate to target AWS WorkSpaces design remove risks tied to legacy dependencies and ensure user experience parity or better.
RESPONSIBLITIES - Discover current Citrix topology including Delivery Controllers StoreFront NetScaler Studio policies and PVS or MCS
- Document app delivery patterns GPO dependencies profile handling Zoom or Teams optimization printing smart cards and USB devices
- Identify one to one or one to few mappings from ICA optimized features to WorkSpaces or AppStream capabilities
- Advise on persona fit for persistent desktops versus any pooled or app streaming use case
- Define a decommission plan for Citrix components that includes pilot exit checks rollback and license milestones
- Guide headset and smart card policies and test scenarios that mirror Citrix baselines
- Partner with AWS Architect to validate voice quality targets and MOS with Zscaler in the path
JOB REQUIREMENTS - Eight or more years with Citrix architecture and operations at scale with recent migration experience
- Expert knowledge of Citrix CVAD NetScaler HDX policies and performance tuning
- Strong understanding of profile tech such as Citrix UPM versus FSLogix
- Familiarity with migration patterns from Citrix to AWS EUC platforms
- CCA N or CCP N (Preferred Certification)
- CCE V (Preferred Certification)
