Revenue Manager Our client, a fast-growing SaaS company, is seeking a Revenue Manager to join their finance team on a contract-to-hire basis. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a dynamic environment and is excited to scale processes and systems to support continued growth.
Location: Redwood City, CA. This position is hybrid, with in-office expectations one day per week. However, fully remote candidates will be considered if compensation expectations align.
This engagement will have an initial duration of 2 months, with the opportunity of conversion.
Responsibilities: - Review and analyze complex revenue arrangements, including SaaS contracts, credits, and modifications.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Sales, Legal, Finance, and Revenue Operations to assess revenue impact.
- Ensure accurate revenue recognition in accordance with ASC 606 and maintain compliance with SOX controls.
- Support monthly close activities, including journal entries, reconciliations, and deferred revenue waterfall preparation.
- Manage billing and collections specialists, driving timely invoicing and faster collection turnaround.
- Assist with external audits and lead cross-functional initiatives for process improvement.
Requirements: - 5 years of relevant experience, including 3 years in technical revenue accounting.
- Strong understanding of ASC 606 and experience writing technical revenue memos.
- Proficiency in NetSuite (including ARM), SFDC, and commissions software.
- CPA or public accounting experience preferred.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills, with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
