The Reservoir Engineer, working under limited supervision, is responsible for steering preparation of quarterly production volume forecasts to support economics for asset development and budgets cycle for cash flow projections. The role prepares comprehensive cash flow analyses and modeling for capital and expense projects and cost comparisons on budgeted versus actual expenditures. The role summarizes information and trends, steers evaluation of internal production data, and spearheads reviews of project proposals and plans. The role contributes substantially to special projects focused on optimizing DSU economics and field scale development planning, establishes effective relationships, influences at all levels, mentors on collaboration, and contributes innovative solutions leveraging an inclusive mindset and diverse technical expertise. Responsibilities include: steering preparation for production volume forecasts, preparing comprehensive cash flow analyses and modeling, conducting economic analyses for potential dispositions and acquisitions, summarizing information and trends, evaluating internal production data using advanced techniques, developing production and reserve reports, collaborating with vendors and stakeholders to evaluate new technologies, establishing effective relationships and mentoring, contributing to special projects on DSU economics and reservoir characterization, organizing and completing multiple concurrent projects, prioritizing deadlines, and providing strategic technical recommendations to leadership. Education required is a Bachelor's Degree in Petroleum Engineering, Reservoir Engineering or related discipline and/or commensurate work experience. Experience required is 5+ years in relevant fields such as Reserves Analysis, Performance Analysis and Forecasting, Economic Evaluations or related fields, with industry experience preferred. Professional Engineer (PE) License is preferred. Competencies include stakeholder relationships, oral and written communication, results orientation, active learning, and digital literacy. Skills include cash flow analysis and modeling, production forecasting, economic analysis and modeling, regulatory compliance, data analysis and interpretation, sensitivity analysis, and reservoir surveillance and monitoring.
