Key Responsibilities:

Quality Systems & Compliance

  • Drive continuous improvement and succession planning within the department.
  • Facilitate training for staff on quality tools, procedures, and statistical methods.

Data Analysis & Process Improvement

  • Analyze data to identify root causes and implement corrective actions.
  • Oversee statistical methods programs, including SPC, Gage R&R, and capability studies.
  • Promote and coordinate plant-wide quality improvement initiatives.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Participate in daily production meetings and support engineering, manufacturing, and sales teams.
  • Ensure quality requirements are integrated across all departments.
  • Act as a key contributor to strategic planning and performance review.

Qualifications:

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related technical field (or equivalent experience).
  • 4–5 years of senior quality engineering experience, including team leadership.
  • Experience in regulated, manufacturing environments (automotive experience preferred).

Technical Skills

  • Strong knowledge of APQP, PPAP, FMEA, Control Plans, Gage R&R, and other core quality tools.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Minitab.
  • Familiar with Lean Manufacturing principles and Six Sigma methodologies.

Soft Skills & Competencies

  • Strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to solve complex problems and lead cross-functional initiatives.
  • Comfortable with both strategic planning and hands-on floor work.

Additional Requirements:

  • Ensure customer-specific requirements are met across the organization.
  • Support quality-related documentation, training, capacity analysis, and use of customer portals.
  • Regularly report QMS performance and improvement opportunities to top management.

If you are a proactive leader with a strong quality background and the drive to improve systems and teams, we encourage you to apply and help shape the future of quality at Pace Industries.
