Job Description

Providence Health Plan is seeking a Risk Adjustment Analytics Principal to act as the primary technical resource and business liaison for the Risk Adjustment Department and the broader Data Analytics team. The role will drive the development of tools, metrics, and reports to advance the organization’s Risk Adjustment strategy while providing project management, advanced analytical skills, and process improvement leadership. Essential Functions Meet regularly with Risk Adjustment leadership and staff to establish reporting and analytics priorities, secure resources, set timelines, and deliver on agreed‑upon goals. Provide deep understanding of Risk Adjustment processes, models, and methodologies, producing reporting and analysis to support leadership decision‑making. Deliver advanced analytical support to Finance and Risk Adjustment leadership related to performance and payment expectations. Organize, prepare, and distribute complex analyses and operational reports utilizing multiple data systems. Required Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree in a highly quantitative field (e.g., Statistics, Mathematics, Actuarial Science, Economics, Engineering/Physics, Accounting, or Computer Science) plus a minimum of 10 years of data analysis experience OR high‑school education plus 12 years of data analysis experience. Data analysis experience at a decision‑making level. Preferred Qualifications Master’s Degree. Formal training in CQI/TQM and statistical process control methodology. Healthcare organization/health insurer experience. Extensive experience in CQI/TQM and statistical process control methodology. Salary Range by Location California – Humboldt: $54.40 – $85.88 per hour California – Northern (excl. Humboldt): $61.04 – $96.35 per hour California – Southern (excl. Bakersfield): $54.40 – $85.88 per hour California – Bakersfield: $52.19 – $82.39 per hour Oregon – Non‑Portland Service Area: $48.65 – $76.80 per hour Oregon – Portland Service Area: $52.19 – $82.39 per hour Washington – Western (excl.
