Job Description

Come join one of the largest physician-led healthcare networks in Southern CA! We are looking for a Physician Recruiter to join our team and help support the recruitment of talent for Professional Licensed level positions, including Medical Directors, Physicians, Hospitalists, and Advanced Practice Clinicians (Nurse Practitioners, Physician Assistants). This role will be an integral part of the recruitment team.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

- Serve as a business partner and subject matter expert in recruitment, applying best practices for full-cycle recruitment and strategic talent acquisition.

- Help plan, develop, and implement recruitment strategies for professional licensed positions in alignment with organizational goals.

- Recommend and implement improvements to staffing processes and procedures.

- Facilitate the entire recruitment process, including sourcing, interviewing, selection, contracting (as applicable), and onboarding.

- Conduct initial interviews to pre-qualify candidates based on job descriptions and departmental needs.

- Utilize social media, digital platforms, and other tools to attract and convert passive and hard-to-find talent.

- Employ creative sourcing and marketing techniques to engage qualified candidates for difficult-to-fill roles.

- Build and maintain a broad professional network and talent pipeline through proactive outreach and relationship management.

- Identify community-based recruitment opportunities and develop outreach strategies accordingly.

- Draft, update, and maintain physician/provider contracts and amendments as required.

- Coordinate onboarding for physicians and advanced clinical practitioners, including credentialing, background checks, physicals, drug screens, and documentation.

- Maintain and distribute the recruitment tracking spreadsheet; participate in weekly recruitment calls.

- Assist in scheduling and coordinating interviews, ensuring timely communication and follow-up with candidates and interview teams.

- Lead or support recruitment-related special projects as assigned.

- Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Education and Experience:

- Bachelor's degree, preferably in a healthcare-related field.

- 2+ years of full-cycle recruiting/sourcing experience in physician recruitment is required.

- 2+ years of recruiting experience within a hospital or medical group setting.

- 2+ years of agency staffing experience is a strong plus.

- Experience in project management is a plus.

- Strong customer service skills with excellent written and verbal communication abilities.

- Proven ability to build relationships with management and candidates.

- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.

- Experience in planning and organizing job fairs, networking events, and mixers is preferred.

- Highly organized with the ability to multitask.

The pay range for this position at the commencement of employment is expected to be up to $80,000 per year, depending on experience. However, the base pay offered may vary based on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, licensure, skills, and experience.

The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements such as a sign-on bonus and discretionary awards, in addition to a comprehensive range of benefits (including eligibility for 401(k) and various paid time off benefits such as vacation, sick time, and parental leave), depending on the position offered. Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided upon receipt of an employment offer.

If hired, the employee will be an at-will employee, and the company reserves the right to modify base salary and any other discretionary payment or compensation programs at any time, based on individual performance, company or departmental performance, and market factors.
