Responsibilities
- Warmly welcome patients and visitors upon arrival to the office
- Manage the daily schedule by checking patients in/out and schedule future appointments
- Answer incoming phone calls in a courteous and professional manner
- Verify dental insurance coverage
- Provide accurate information about our services and appointment logistics via phone, email, or in person
- Assist with general administrative duties including filing, scanning, copying, and faxing
- Coordinate with clinical and administrative staff to ensure seamless patient flow
- Maintain a clean, organized, and inviting reception area
- Travel between all three practice locations required as needed
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Prior experience as a receptionist or similar role preferred
- Understanding of dental insurance, the verification process and discussing financial arrangements
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and comfortable with basic computer systems
- Professional appearance and demeanor with a warm and patient-focused attitude
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities, with attention to detail
- Ability to remain calm and compassionate in a fast-paced environment
- Team player mindset with a commitment to exceptional patient service
