Responsibilities

  • Warmly welcome patients and visitors upon arrival to the office
  • Manage the daily schedule by checking patients in/out and schedule future appointments
  • Answer incoming phone calls in a courteous and professional manner
  • Verify dental insurance coverage
  • Provide accurate information about our services and appointment logistics via phone, email, or in person
  • Assist with general administrative duties including filing, scanning, copying, and faxing
  • Coordinate with clinical and administrative staff to ensure seamless patient flow
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and inviting reception area
  • Travel between all three practice locations required as needed

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Prior experience as a receptionist or similar role preferred
  • Understanding of dental insurance, the verification process and discussing financial arrangements
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and comfortable with basic computer systems
  • Professional appearance and demeanor with a warm and patient-focused attitude
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities, with attention to detail
  • Ability to remain calm and compassionate in a fast-paced environment
  • Team player mindset with a commitment to exceptional patient service
