Abacus Staffing is hiring package handlers for one of our national partners located in the Goodyear area.

Position: Package Handler

Location: Goodyear, AZ 85338 (Litchfield Rd & Van Buren)

Pay Rate: $17.50/hr.

Shift: Monday-Friday 9am-6pm (hours subject to vary)

Overtime on Saturday & Sunday is mandatory

Operational Details:

• Scanning: Scan Air/Ground packages upon being tendered
• Unload gaylords (on pallets) with a pallet jack from trailer and move to designated sort area
• Segregate polypacks loaded inside the gaylords by service level
• Scan + Bag 50%+ of the polypacks by destination
• Reload gaylords with segregated shipments back onto designated trailers
• Sorting: Need to differentiate FO/PO/SO shipments for early P/U from deferred shipments for the late P/U
• Loading: Loading scanned shipments onto designated trailer
• Experience with RF scanner
