Job Description

Locked N Logistics is looking for OTR (Over-the-road) Box truck Drivers (Standard license) to transport various goods and equipment over long distances. This is an over-the-road position. *** Must be willing to train for 3 days prior to working.

• Full-time position: Independent Contractor (W9)
• Shift: Available to work different shifts if needed.
• Must be able to work 6 days per week
• Must have a valid driver’s license (CDL not required)
• Must be 21 years or older
• Must be VERY PUNCTUAL!
• Responsible & Reliable
• Physically fit (Pallet Jack Palletized Freight)
• Have a good driving record (MVR)
• 1 year of similar driving experience (16 ft to 26 ft. Box Trucks) Preferred not required
• Prior Class B CDL experience preferred not required
• Will clear a Background Check
• Will clear a Drug Test - NO Marijuana
• No DUI
• No License suspensions
• No major at-fault accidents

Driver Responsibilities

• Safely transporting freight between various locations over long distances.
• Performing truck inspections before and after each trip to ensure that all mechanical systems are in good working order.
• Carefully planning routes to ensure that deliveries are completed in a timely manner.
• Maintaining a logbook detailing the hours traveled, rest periods, miles covered, as well as all fuel, repair, and toll expenses.
• Promptly reporting any traffic violations, road accidents, and vehicle breakdowns to management.
• Provide and Operate Liftgate and Pallet jack.
• Must be able to Load and Unload your own truck.
• Have a reliable smartphone
