Bachelors Degree required. Masters Degree preferred; 3 to 5 years of experience in a higher education setting desired; Knowledge and experience with nursing accrediting bodies is also preferred; Excellent interpersonal, communication skills, strong organizational skills and attention to detail required. This position is responsible for understanding and applying Pennsylvania State Board of Nursing regulations and other accrediting bodies standards and coordinate, with the Chairperson, all accreditation/certification filings and requirements including reports, self-studies, and campus visits by accrediting/approval agencies. The position will build partnerships to maintain placement sites for clinical or experiential learning for students as required by accreditation/approval. Establish, maintain, and ensure compliance with clinical affiliation agreements and manage student participation in the precepted clinical experience, clinical placement, and program requirements for nursing programs. The position will engage in the student advising process and provide student support for all nursing programs using institutional tools to create and maintain student plans. The Coordinator will evaluate student progression and completion of such plans and direct students to appropriate University resources as needed.
