Position Overview :

We seek a results-driven  Medical (Device/disposables) Sales Representative to join our team and take a key role as we direct our sales focus to the United States. You will be our first hire for our operations in the US market.

Represent Medak Medical's product lines in Florida and nationally as opportunities develop. The role will focus on establishing our presence in the hospital setting by selling top-tier medical devices and consumables. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of medical sales, with a particular focus on surgical, respiratory, orthopedic, and other specialties.

Prior experience in medical device/disposables/equipment sales to hospitals/clinics is a prerequisite. (experience in hospitals' purchasing etc. departments is also acceptable)

Key Responsibilities :

  • Sales and Account Management : Promote and sell world-class surgical and medical devices to hospital buyers, surgeons, and procurement departments within the Florida territory and nationally as opportunities develop.
  • Market Penetration : Target new business opportunities, cold-call, and establish new relationships with hospital systems and medical professionals. Including helping us to have memberships to GPOs.
  • Product Expertise : Serve as a subject matter expert on our diverse product offerings, educating healthcare professionals on the benefits and advantages of using our products.
  • Strategic Selling : Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve quarterly and annual sales goals.
  • Customer Relationship Management : Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key decision-makers, ensuring customer satisfaction and product adoption.
  • Collaboration : Work closely with internal teams to ensure the timely delivery of products and resolve any issues or inquiries from clients.
  • Market Intelligence : Stay updated on industry trends, competitor offerings, and customer needs to provide tailored solutions and stay ahead in the market.

Qualifications :

  • Experience : Minimum 3+ years of experience in medical device sales, preferably with a focus on surgical, respiratory, orthopedic, or related medical product categories.
  • Education : Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Life Sciences, or a related field or related hospital sales experience is an advantage.
  • Sales Skills : Proven ability to generate new business, close sales, and meet or exceed sales quotas.
  • Technical Knowledge : Strong understanding of hospital systems and medical devices, with the ability to engage C-level executives and healthcare professionals.
  • Travel : Willingness to travel within the Florida territory and nationally as opportunities occur (approximately 50% travel).
  • Communication : Excellent interpersonal, presentation, and negotiation skills.
  • Self-Starter : Must be highly motivated, entrepreneurial, and capable of working independently in a remote environment. Willingness to take initiatives is a must.

What do we offer?

Full  travel reimbursement — we cover all travel-related expenses.

Flexible work environment — this is a  primarily full-time remote position with on-site visits to hospitals and clinics across Florida, mainly in the Miami area; occasional travel to other states may be required.

Commission from sales - uncapped, on top of base salary of $60.000

The primary objective of Medak is to expand its operations in the US. Thus, the sales rep will get promoted and remain the most experienced employee of our US operations. Accordingly, the sales rep can expect significant increases to their salary.
