LanceSoft is seeking a local contract nurse RN Hospice Director for a local contract nursing job in Woodland Hills, California.

Position Summary:
We are seeking a full-time Director of Patient Care Services (DPCS) to provide clinical leadership and oversight for our hospice program. The DPCS is responsible for ensuring high-quality, compassionate end-of-life care for patients and families while maintaining regulatory compliance and staff development.

Responsibilities:

• Supervise and support hospice nurses, team managers, and on-call staff.
• Oversee admissions to ensure eligibility and appropriateness of care.
• Implement and monitor quality assurance programs for hospice care.
• Advocate for patients and families, ensuring compassionate, patient-centered service.
• Mentor and train clinical staff, ensuring compliance with hospice regulations.

Qualifications:

• Current RN license with BSN or higher (Master’s preferred).
• 5+ years of nursing experience, including at least 3 years in hospice and 1+ year in leadership.
• Strong knowledge of hospice regulations, compliance, and patient care planning.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills
