Responsibilities: Oversee and manage the company’s accounting operations, including financial reporting, compliance, and internal controls. Prepare, review, and ensure the accuracy of financial statements in accordance with GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles). Provide leadership in tax planning, compliance, and reporting, ensuring timely and accurate tax filings. Conduct audits and reviews, identifying and resolving discrepancies and improving accounting procedures. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate and timely financial data for decision-making. Lead budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis efforts, providing strategic insights for business planning. Develop and maintain robust financial models and tools to support business growth and operational efficiencies. Stay updated on changing financial regulations, industry trends, and best practices to ensure continued compliance and relevance. Mentor and support junior accounting staff, fostering a culture of growth and continuous improvement. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. CPA license is required. Proven experience as a CPA or in a similar senior accounting role. In-depth knowledge of GAAP, tax regulations, and financial reporting standards. Strong financial modeling, auditing, and analytical skills. Exceptional attention to detail, problem-solving abilities, and organizational skills. Proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Excel. Excellent communication and leadership abilities, with experience presenting complex financial data to non-financial stakeholders.
