CrossCountry Mortgage (CCM) is the nation's number one distributed retail mortgage lender with more than 7,000 employees operating over 700 branches and servicing loans across all 50 states, D.C. and Puerto Rico. The Jr. Loan Originator is responsible for managing loan files from application through closing, pulls and analyzes credit applicant information, and reviews income & asset documents. As a member of the sales team, the Jr. LO requests and obtains referrals from current and potential Company clients. The Junior LO also runs DU, stacks and submits files, requests and clears conditions and communicates with both borrowers and Realtors. Responsibilities include acting as primary contact and liaison between clients, Branch Manager, Branch Sales Manager and/or assigned Loan Originator(s), taking telephone applications, scheduling appointments with Loan Originators and Realtors, submitting complete loan applications, tracking requested documents in Encompass, reviewing documentation for discrepancies, partnering with Loan Originators to resolve file problems, ensuring files are complete per company policy, pulling credit reports, and providing superior customer service. Qualifications include a High School Diploma or equivalent, minimum 3 years’ experience, preferred State and Federal NMLS License, knowledge of RESPA and mortgage lending regulations, Encompass experience, and computer knowledge including DU, LP, Microsoft Office & Windows.
