Salary: $58,000 - $63,000
Overview:
Community Preservation Partners (CPP) is seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Associate to support our accounting and development teams. This entry-level role is ideal for someone looking to start a career in real estate development accounting, with opportunities to learn about construction financing, vendor management, and project accounting.
Responsibilities:
- Assist with accounts payable processing, including invoice entry, vendor setup, and payment preparation
- Support the preparation and organization of construction draw packages and loan documentation
- Prepare wire transfer requests and coordinate approvals
- Prepare monthly bank reconciliations
- Assist with setting up new projects and bank accounts in the accounting system
Skills, Knowledge, and Education:
- Bachelors degree in accounting, finance, or related field (or in progress)
- 02 years of relevant experience (internships or administrative roles a plus)
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
- Willingness to learn and grow in a fast-paced environment
