Jafra is looking for a talented Web Designer to join our team. This position is full-time, remote, Monday-Friday. The Web Designer is responsible for designing and maintaining email design and web-based projects. This person is a goal-oriented individual who possesses exceptional attention to detail and has outstanding interpersonal skills. This role requires interacting with and implementing UI/UX best practices and principles. In addition, the Junior Web Designer is required to work closely with the comms & creative team as well as other departments at Jafra to make sure the goals are achieved. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Create Web Design mock-ups via Figma for WordPress and Shopify. Design and build WordPress, Shopify, based websites and Omnisend email templates. Design and build landing pages for various marketing efforts within their CMS Test and improve the design and functionality of existing websites (UI/UX/Responsiveness) Respond and resolve WordPress, Shopify support tickets and requests Work with Project Owners to identify requirements and project goals Test and verify with team members communication and submission forms. Participate in meetings with clients including creative meetings, design reviews, demos, and end user training Integrate various third-party applications into websites based on client needs and project scope (Omnisend, Mailchimp and HubSpot preferably) Work collaboratively in a team setting, as well as independently Maintain an eye for detail and meet deadlines consistently All other duties as assigned QUALIFICATIONS You have a passion for web and email design and would like to move that passion to application within the marketing realm You demonstrate good judgment in solving problems as well as identifying problems in advance and proposing solutions You can hit home runs but also respect the sac fly. Some projects will be solo, and some will be a group effort You're UX/UI minded You are eager to learn and grow You able to multitask in a fast-paced technical environment Experience:   ~1-2 years’ experience designing, building, and managing WordPress and or Shopify websites and knowledge of WordPress, Omnisend (or other communication platform) and Shopify best practices ~ Experience working with Elementor Page Builder or similar ~ Proficiency in WordPress CMS, Figma, Adobe Suite ~ Experience with reading and editing HTML/CSS ~ Experience with Shopify preferred ~ Strong design skills and ability to follow the branding guidelines ~ Understanding of UI and UX principles ~ Excellent communication skills with clients and team members – bilingual preferred ~ Experience with tight-turnaround times ~ Ability to handle multiple projects and collaborate with other departments ~ Attention to detail and the ability to effectively multi-task in a deadline-driven atmosphere ~ Bilingual preferred ~ Must reside in Dallas, TX
