Lateral Link is assisting a repeat client and global law firm with a new unposted search for a mid-level international trade associate.
The ideal candidate will be JD class of 2022-2019.
The group would like to see an associate with trade remedies experience, specifically an associate who has firm experience handling AD/CVD work.
Government experience is a plus but they absolutely need firm experience too so that they can step in pretty quickly into the firm environment advising clients as needed.
The trade team advises in the following areas: export controls, sanctions, and trade remedies (antidumping/CVD trade law and/or investigations).
Many of the team members formerly held prominent government positions which offers credibility with senior government officials that can help clients open markets, comply with trade laws and resolve trade disputes.
The partners are approachable and support associate development by providing guidance and instructive feedback.
