Job Opportunity: In-Person Interpreters

Language Nexus, a woman-owned language company serving local entities in Denver, Colorado, is seeking professional in-person interpreters to support our growing needs in Denver, CO (specially in South Denver). We have an urgent need for Spanish interpreters, but we welcome applicants for all languages.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide high-quality in-person consecutive and/or simultaneous interpretation.
• Accurately and completely interpret spoken communication between English and the target language.
• Maintain professionalism and cultural sensitivity while working with diverse communities.
• Communicate effectively with clients and other parties during assignments.

Desired Qualifications:

• Native fluency in the target language.
• Bicultural in addition to bilingual.
• At least one year of professional interpreting experience.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Willingness to undergo a background check and fingerprinting in South Denver.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience interpreting in SPED or IEP school meetings.
• Degree in interpreting or translation.
• Relevant certifications such as CCHI, NBCMI, Court Certification, ATA Certification, ALTA, RID, or equivalent.
