Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled AND EXPERIENCED HVAC and Refrigeration General Manager to join our team. As an HVAC and Refrigeration General Manager , you will be responsible for leading our entire team from service to installation and bidding jobs. This is a hands-on role that requires strong technical skills and the ability to troubleshoot, manage people, budget and resolve issues efficiently.
Responsibilities:
-Oversee day-to-day operations of the HVAC company, ensuring efficiency and profitability. Must be willing to get your hands dirty in the field.
-Bid, Plan and coordinate projects from inception to final walk-through, ensuring a complete and correct HVAC system install.
- Develop and implement sales strategies that drive revenue growth for all service lines
- Monitor financial performance, including budgets, forecasts, and profit margins, and implement corrective actions as needed.
- Communicate with General Contractors, Subcontractors to ensure a seamless project execution.
- Ensure OSHA & EPA rules and regulations are being followed.
- Familiarity with (BAS) and understanding of the digital protocol with variable refrigerant flow systems. Navigate, clear alarms and reset parameters on VFD's.
- Able to Diagnose and troubleshoot system malfunctions using schematics and diagnostic tools with technicians on the phone.
- Blueprint reading and takeoffs will be required. If you do not know HVAC/R DO NOT APPLY
- Use your connections to earn new business and referrals.
- Detail-oriented with good organizational skills
Experience:
- Proven experience 10 YEARS MINIMUM as a HVAC Refrigeration Technician or similar role
- Strong knowledge of refrigeration systems, including both mechanical and electrical components
- EPA & OSHA Certificate
- Sheet metal fabrication and installation knowledge is a HUGE plus
- Experience providing the following is required - DEAL BREAKERS -Budget, Takeoffs, Schedule of Values, Estimates.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to diagnose issues accurately
- Must be computer literate and have excellent writing communication.
Must have a clean driving and background record.
