We are an early stage, high growth start-up called MediaKits. MediaKits.com is a simple and easy to use platform for influencers, bloggers, and musicians to create a custom media kit online with real-time data and analytics. We are building a company culture of hard working individuals who are passionate about the creator economy.

The Head of Talent position is responsible for the recruitment, service, and retention of all celebrity and high profile talent. This position is ideal for someone already passionate about the celebrity and creator space. This person also needs to bring their own expertise and skill-set to manage and develop relationships with new or existing talent.

Responsibilities:

1. Responsible for on-boarding and managing celebrities and high profile talent to MediaKits.
2. Primary contact for all celebrities and high profile talent, providing best in class service via various weekly or monthly touchpoints – video, calls, emails, in-person and out of office meetings.
3. Manage high call volume, emails, and support client services by being the primary contact for all high profile talent and celebrities.
4. Work with Head of Sales to develop personalized renewal offers and up-selling strategy for assigned accounts if deemed necessary.
5. Responsible for payment collections and resolutions.
6. Accountable for updating and maintaining the ticketing and CRM systems.

Qualifications/Requirements:

1. Minimum of 5 years of service/retention experience – at least three of those years focused on influencer or celebrity driven management.
2. Experience negotiating multi-year SaaS products.
3. Commitment to world class service.
4. Excellent people skills, with an ability to interact effectively and in a professional, diplomatic and mature manner.
5. Able to meet tight deadlines and work effectively in a high-pressure environment.
6. Ability to write reports and business correspondence.
7. Highly organized with good coordinating and project management skills.
8. Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral or diagram form.
9. Ability to analyze problems involving many variables.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $75,000 - $100,000 per year depending on experience

Work Location:

Remote, California/West Coast Preferred. Potential opportunity for an office setting.
