Job Details Job Location Houston, TX Position Type Seasonal Description As a Event Staff member, you will be responsible for ensuring a smooth and terrifying experience for our guests. Your role will involve directing traffic flow, providing exceptional customer service, and maintaining a spooky atmosphere throughout the event. Key Responsibilities: Traffic Flow Management: Direct guests through the haunted attraction efficiently, ensuring a steady flow and minimizing bottlenecks. Manage crowd control by guiding visitors to designated areas, such as queue lines and exit points. Implement crowd management strategies to maintain safety and prevent overcrowding. Customer Service: Provide friendly and professional assistance to guests, answering questions and addressing concerns. Offer clear instructions and directions to ensure guests understand the rules and layout of the haunt. Handle customer complaints with empathy and resolve issues promptly, maintaining a positive experience. Event Operations: Assist with event setup and teardown, ensuring all areas are clean and ready for operation. Collaborate with other staff members to maintain the overall atmosphere and ensure all elements of the haunt are functioning properly. Safety and Security: Monitor the area for any safety hazards and report them to management immediately. Assist security personnel in maintaining a secure environment for guests and staff. Communication: Communicate effectively with other staff members, including actors, stage managers, and security personnel, to ensure a seamless experience. Qualifications Availability: Must be available to work evenings and weekends. Consistent attendance is expected. Physical Demands: Ability to stand for long periods and move around the event area. Customer Service Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to handle difficult situations professionally.
