Estimator/Sales – HVAC | Jansons Associates

On-site | Full-Time | East Rutherford, NJ

About the Role

Jansons is seeking a driven and experienced Estimator/Sales professional to join our team. In this role, you’ll work directly with our President/CEO to price and pursue new business opportunities in the chimney/specialty exhaust industry. If you have a solid background in HVAC estimating and a passion for building client relationships, we’d love to meet you.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the President/CEO to review bid documents and develop competitive estimates
• Prepare takeoffs, cost breakdowns, and detailed proposals
• Identify and pursue new sales opportunities in target markets
• Maintain relationships with vendors and subcontractors to ensure accurate pricing
• Attend pre-bid walkthroughs and client meetings as needed
• Support handoff to project management after award

Qualifications

• 3–5+ years of HVAC estimating experience
• Proficiency with construction and estimating software
• Strong understanding of HVAC systems and construction processes
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple bids and deadlines simultaneously
