Position: Electrical Estimator

Job Description: We are seeking a skilled Electrical Estimator to join our team for a variety of mission-critical projects in Northern Virginia. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter who is comfortable with travel and eager to join a fast-growing company. This role involves working on mission-critical retrofits and tenant fit-outs, ensuring accurate and competitive electrical estimates. Additionally, the candidate will be client-facing, responsible for building out the electrical department and establishing strong relationships with clients.

Required Skills & Experience:

• Minimum of 3 years of lead electrical estimating experience on mission-critical/data center work.
• Proven experience in electrical estimating, specifically in mission-critical/data center environments.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Willingness to travel as required by project needs.
• Client-facing experience with the ability to build and maintain strong client relationships.
• Estimating software

Responsibilities:

• Prepare detailed and accurate electrical estimates for mission-critical projects.
• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure estimates align with project requirements.
• Analyze project specifications, drawings, and other documentation to prepare comprehensive cost estimates.
• Participate in project meetings and site visits as needed.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry standards, best practices, and emerging technologies.
• Build and develop the electrical department, ensuring it meets the needs of the company and its clients.
• Establish and maintain strong relationships with clients, acting as the primary point of contact for electrical estimating matters.

Compensation

100,000 - 130,000 Based on experience
