About the Opportunity
A growing electrical contractor in the Oxford, GA area is seeking a skilled Electrical Estimator with experience in commercial and industrial projects . This role plays a critical part in pricing work accurately, supporting the preconstruction process, and collaborating with project managers and clients on high-value bids.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare detailed and accurate cost estimates for electrical systems (commercial & industrial)
- Review drawings, specs, and job walks to develop bid strategy and scope
- Identify labor, material, and time requirements for each project
- Work closely with PMs and leadership on project handoffs
- Manage bid deadlines and maintain estimating pipeline
- Assist with vendor/subcontractor pricing and comparisons
- Attend pre-bid meetings and provide technical input as needed
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience as an Electrical Estimator
- Strong background in commercial and/or industrial projects
- Ability to interpret blueprints, specs, and scopes of work
- Proficiency in estimating software (Accubid, ConEst, or similar)
- Strong communication and time management skills
- Must be based in or near Oxford, GA
