The Director of Sales Mid Markets at Spectrum Business leads and mentors sales teams to exceed revenue goals by developing strategic sales models and business processes. This role involves driving sales growth through client engagement, proposal management, and identifying new business opportunities within the midmarket B2B segment. The position requires strong leadership, sales expertise, and technical knowledge in telecommunications and network solutions.

You exceed sales goals through inspiring sales leadership, strategic planning and formulating sales model standards. You develop detailed and lucrative business sale processes within your region. You provide mentorship, sales training and constructive feedback.

How you can make a difference:

  • Complete our 12-week paid sales training that won a Brandon Hall Group gold award for excellence in Best Advance in Sales Enablement and Performance Tools.
  • Coach and direct Sales teams to achieve or exceed monthly revenue goals.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert on direct sales and account management strategies.
  • Identify new business opportunities through the development of a strategic vision.
  • Develop and implement sales and marketing strategies to increase sales.
  • Field-based sales roles have fluidity between home, client location and office locations. The expectation is that you are primarily out in front of clients.
  • Manage sales activity, pipeline progression, use of performance management policies and processes and provide regular reports.
  • Direct the proposal process ensuring effective tracking of RFPs and supervising the development of NPV IRR data.

WHAT YOU BRING TO SPECTRUM BUSINESS

Required qualifications:

  • Experience : Five or more years of sales leadership experience managing business accounts and sales teams; Experience achieving sales goals and executing tactical sales plans with an emphasis on overachievement in a telecommunications or technology company.
  • Education : Bachelor’s degree in a business-related field or equivalent experience.
  • Technical skills : Expert in computer networking and fiber connected networks.
  • Skills : Leadership, finance and English communication skills.
  • Abilities : Deadline-driven with the ability to guide proposals of products and solutions for business class segments.
  • Availability : Travel to and from assigned territories and company facilities. Valid driver's license.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Familiar with Salesforce.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office.

The base pay for this position generally is between $115,200.00 and $204,200.00 . The actual compensation offered will carefully consider a wide range of factors, including your skills, qualifications, experience, and location. We comply with local wage minimums and also, certain positions are eligible for additional forms of compensation such as bonuses.

In addition, this position has a commission earnings target starting at $75,000 .
