Kheir Clinic was established in 1986 to serve as a bridge between low-income, recently-immigrated, non-English speaking Korean community and local health and social service providers. Today, Kheir is a broad-based agency providing comprehensive health care for a diverse population through its 7 Clinics (Federally Qualified Health Center sites), Adult Day Health Care Center and Patient Resources Department.

Kheir’s mission is to increase and provide access to culturally and linguistically-sensitive quality primary healthcare and human services support to the underserved and uninsured residents of Southern California.
DENTAL DIRECTOR ASSIGNMENT SUMMARY:
Responsible for administering, maintaining, and expanding a program of primary and preventive dental care for a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC). The Dental Director supervises the dental staff of Kheir Clinic and represents the dental staff to the Chief Medical Officer/Medical Director (CMO). The Dental Director provides dental advice and counsel to the CMO and strategic counsel to Organizational leadership. The Dental Director interfaces with external agencies regarding oral health initiatives as appropriate. The Dental Director will serve as a role model to dental staff and create a positive working environment. In addition, the Dental Director performs a variety of administrative and patient treatment duties to ensure the delivery of dental services to clients.

We are committed to providing linguistically and culturally-sensitive quality primary healthcare and human services support to the underserved and uninsured residents of Southern California. Kheir is currently the only Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) in the nation that offers a full suite of services in 5 different languages including: English, Bengali, Korean, Spanish and Thai. We currently have 7 sites and 140 employees with 15+ contract consultants. We are expected to provide over 85,000 patient visits this year.
