***Dental Experience Required***
The dental assistant works closely with the doctor to provide care for the patients. A dental assistant is critical in making the patient’s experience more smooth and happy. The assistant ensures excellent patient care by preparing the patient for treatment and making sure their needs are met. A dental assistant is an expert at sterilizing the equipment and the room for the patients safety. An assistant performs a required set of hands in the exam and restoration process by having the correct items the dentist will need ready, and aptly handing them to the dentist as needed throughout the procedure. The act of suctioning and rinsing for patient comfort and as an assistance to the dentist is a primary function of the dental assistant.
