Join to apply for the Cisco Network Architect role at Motion Recruitment . This global leader in construction manufacturing specializes in producing and recycling steel for infrastructure and commercial developments. They’re looking to add a Network Architect to their network engineering team. The ideal candidate is a Cisco-focused network engineer with strong experience in enterprise-level architecture and design. Hands-on expertise with Cisco Nexus, Meraki, Checkpoint, F5, Cloudflare, and ISE is essential, and familiarity with Zscaler or Zero Trust networking is a plus. In this role, you'll collaborate with cross-functional IT teams—including operations, OT, and security—to drive network enhancements. You'll also be responsible for maintaining up-to-date documentation and mentoring junior network engineers. Required Skills & Experience Proven experience in network architecture and design, preferably within an enterprise environment. Strong understanding of network security principles; familiarity with Zscaler or Zero Trust frameworks is advantageous. Hands-on experience with Cisco ISE components. Excellent collaboration skills, with regular interaction across operations, security, and cloud teams. Demonstrated ability to lead projects and mentor junior team members. Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with a focus on thorough documentation. Preferred Qualifications Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Information Systems, Cybersecurity, or a related field. Industry certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, or CCIE are highly regarded.
