Position Overview

The Business Development Associate will play a key role in driving company growth through new client acquisition, relationship management, and strategic partnerships. This individual will focus on developing opportunities within general contracting firms, property management companies, developers, and other key industry stakeholders — with a special emphasis on commercial painting and coating projects.

Direct Responsibilities

• This is NOT a remote job. The Business Development Associate will be working with our team in our Phoenix Office Monday – Friday. 9:00 AM-5:00 PM (No weekend work) - Start and stop times can be discussed.
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the commercial construction and painting markets.
• Job duties to include email correspondence, phone communications and the scheduling of introductory meetings with clients for management.
• Monitor and record incoming bid opportunities
• Attend networking events and trade shows to promote company services.
• Maintain an updated pipeline of prospects using CRM tools.
• Provide feedback to leadership to support company growth strategies and marketing efforts.

Qualifications

· Excellent communication, correspondence and organizational skills required.

• 3–5+ years of business development experience.
• Proven track record of meeting or exceeding business development goals.
• Proficiency with CRM systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Associate degree or bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing, and or Communication / Public Relations however, certainly not a disqualifier.
• Experience in Construction Management, or related field (preferred) however, certainly not a disqualifier.
