Overview Join to apply for the Banquet Server On Call role at Pyramid Global Hospitality . Location: Rand Tower, Minneapolis, a Tribute Portfolio Hotel. We are looking for a highly motivated Banquet Server to join our team to set up and prepare banquet rooms for functions, serve and bus tables, and clear and tear down banquet rooms at the end of functions. Your Role Set up for functions including draping tables, setting silverware, folding napkins, preparing drinks, and placing table centerpieces. Serve by picking up food from back hall, carrying trays to the function location, serving food, and clearing food from tables. Break down by bussing tables, putting away dirty linen and centerpieces, vacuuming, and cleaning back hall. Organize storerooms and assist as needed with event room setup according to meal period and table needs. Perform food & beverage preparation duties such as preparing condiments, brewing coffee, and stocking workstations. Serve food and beverages to guests and remove dishes, glasses, silverware, or other items from tables/countertops to the kitchen. Clean and sanitize tables and/or counters and seats after guests are finished. Explain how various menu items are prepared, cooking methods, and ingredients; accommodate dietary requests when possible. Provide a warm and sincere welcome/farewell for all guests; interact with staff professionally and assist other departments as needed. Ensure final quality check on food and beverage items prior to serving; monitor assigned tables for customer satisfaction and additional service. Address guest issues promptly and with care; assist other event and restaurant staff as needed. Maintain awareness of safety issues (e.g., broken glass, frayed cords, leaks, broken locks) and follow safety procedures. Qualifications and Requirements Entry level position. Compensation and Benefits The compensation for this position is $15.97 per hour, based on qualifications and experience.
