Job Title: Ambulance Driver
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Ambulance Driver to join our team. As an Ambulance Driver, you will be responsible for transporting patients to medical facilities in a safe and timely manner. You will work closely with medical professionals to ensure that patients receive the care they need.
Responsibilities:
- Operate and maintain ambulance vehicles in a safe and efficient manner
- Transport patients to medical facilities while providing basic life support
- Communicate with medical professionals to ensure patients receive appropriate care
- Follow all traffic laws and safety regulations while driving
- Keep accurate records of patient transport and medical care provided
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of ambulance vehicles and equipment
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Certification as an Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) or Paramedic
- Knowledge of basic life support techniques and medical terminology
- Ability to remain calm and focused in high-pressure situations
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays
